Mission principale :
Piloter et coordonner les activités de production et de recherche &amp; développement dans le domaine de la parfumerie, en garantissant la qualité, la sécurité, la conformité réglementaire.
Assurer la mise en œuvre des projets R&amp;D jusqu'à leur industrialisation, tout en optimisant les processus de fabrication.
Favoriser la communication et la diffusion des bonnes pratiques auprès des filiales du groupe.

Responsabilités clés :
•	Définir et mettre en œuvre la stratégie R&amp;D en lien avec la direction et le marketing (formulation, procédés de fabrications).
•	Superviser la production : planification, organisation des moyens humains et techniques, suivi des indicateurs (volumes, coûts, délais, qualité).
•	Assurer la conformité réglementaire (IFRA, normes internationales, sécurité, hygiène).
•	Coordonner les projets entre les équipes R&amp;D locales
•	Optimiser les procédés industriels pour améliorer la productivité et réduire les coûts.
•	Gérer les stocks de matières premières et produits semi-finis.
•	Veille technologique et réglementaire : suivre les tendances, innovations et évolutions légales.
•	Manager les équipes (opérateurs, techniciens, techniciens spécialisés) et développer leurs compétences.
•	Garantir la qualité et la traçabilité des produits tout au long du cycle.
•	Organiser des ateliers techniques et des sessions de formation inter-filiales.
•	Mettre en place des documents de référence (procédures, guides techniques).
•	Participer à des projets collaboratifs avec les équipes R&amp;D des autres sites.
•	Utiliser les outils digitaux internes pour centraliser, diffuser les connaissances et créer de nouveaux KPI
•	Assurer la remontée d'informations et le partage des retours d'expérience.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
•	Formation : Bac+5 (Ingénieur chimie, génie des procédés, parfumerie, cosmétique).
•	Expérience : 7 à 10 ans en R&amp;D et/ou production dans le secteur parfumerie ou cosmétique.

•	Compétences techniques :
o	Connaissance des procédés de fabrication et des équipements.
o	Maîtrise des outils de planification et de gestion de projet.
o	Connaissance des réglementations IFRA et normes qualité (ISO, EFfCI).
•	Qualités personnelles :
o	Leadership, organisation, rigueur.
o	Esprit client et sens du détail.
o	Capacité à travailler en transversal avec les services connexes (RH, achats, production, qualité, technique, supply chain).&lt;br /&gt;

The Fragrance Development Manager is a project manager in the fragrance division. 
His/her duty as manager is to assist the Fragrance sales team by answering the client's briefs, 
sharing market knowledge and building olfactive strategies.

SCOPE OF JOB:
Innovation
•Analyse the market and its evolution
•Create, complete and optimize a local fragrance collection fitting the market trends and expectations
•Olfactive description on new launches in the local market

Customer Centricity
•The FDM is given Fragrance projects which need to be compliant to the client brief and MANE Development Policies.
•Decide the technical &amp; human needs of the project
•Schedule a due date together with the Sale Department and to respect it
•Ensure the brief is answered correctly
•Justify olfactive choices
•Manage the collection using tools given by the company (classification of fragrances, stability test, GPM)
•Advise Sales department &amp; clients on their olfactive choices
•Active participation in Marketing presentations by allocating Fragrances adapted to concepts.
•Provide a critical and objective opinion to perfumers on technical &amp; sensorial performances to improve their creation to fit the brief better.
•Request for samples made up for projects
•Schedule stability tests
•Schedule completion of projects and send to client
•Maintain continuous contact with the Sales Department locally and of other Subsidiaries in Africa.
•Inform sales on any possible difficulties and to justify his/her olfactive choices
•Share olfactive knowledge with the MANE evaluation community.
•Engage with clients and visit customers together with Sale representative and/or Marketing.

The Fragrance Evaluation Manager Sub Saharan Africa oversees the Sub-Saharan Africa FDM team based in Ivory Coast and South Africa. She/he is fundamentally a team leader as well as a project manager in the fragrance division. His/her duty as manager is to assist the Fragrance sales team and lead the Evaluation team efficiently confidently by bringing guidance, market knowledge and olfactive strategies. As an evaluator he/she must manage fragrance projects in order to answer client briefs with the best proposals by a scheduled due date.
His/ her role is to build a high performing SSA evaluation team.

SCOPE OF JOB

Independence (Finance)
•Manage his/her team annual trip budget effectively

Innovation
•Has the responsibility to lead the build and update the relevant collections in each category, regarding the needs of the customers in each country
•Is responsible for the transmission of the knowledge within his / her team of any innovation (product/process) developed inside Mane worldwide

Customer Centricity
•Ensure the knowledge of the customer preferences through a strong link with sales 
•Ensure the knowledge of the consumer needs in each country through a strong link with marketing and CI departments

Project management
She/he is given Fragrance projects which need to be compliant to the client brief and MANE Development Policies.
His/her mission is:

Fragrance management
To answer a brief precisely and promote Mane's Creations, the incumbent should:
•Analyse the market and its evolution.
•Create, complete, and optimize a local fragrance collection fitting the market trends and expectations.
•Manage the collection using tools given by the company (classification of fragrances, stability test, GPMS)
•Advise the Sales department &amp; clients on their olfactive choices

People
•Align yourself to the performance driven culture through the implementation of performance management and talent management.
•Participate in development planning process.
•Align yourself to the Mane Code of Ethics.
•Align yourself to the Value System.
•Build a strong SSA evaluation organisation acting as one team for speed and best-in-class olfactive proposals for each project
•Assist the evaluation team when they approach difficulties with projects.
•Clear instructions and guidance to the team as how to handle projects and utilise resources for specific clients and projects.
•As a manager she/he must ensure that communication among the team is strong and continuous and that they are working successfully together
•It is his/her duty to identify team weaknesses and strengths to recommend further development and training for those individuals to improve their skills and abilities within the workplace.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
•Fragrance Development Management Qualification
•Plus: At least 5 years in a strategic position with exposure to senior management
