For our location in Haywards Heath, we are looking for a highly organized team player to join our Fragrances department as a Account Manager Fragrances
Your Responsibilities:
•Manage a portfolio of existing accounts:
-Defend existing and historical business of Mane with key customers.
-Identify areas for growth by upgrading or attacking existing ranges, stimulating projects and converting those with a high win rate.
-Develop relationships across all departments and levels of the organisation to position Mane as the partner of choice of our customers (product development, procurement, supply chains, R&D, RAPS, marketing, their sales teams etc.).
-Proactivity in our value proposition to maximise opportunities.
-Impeccable service in partnership with all internal teams involves and in respect of all service level agreements & internal policies.
•New business development:
-Always be on the hunt for new opportunities beyond our current account base, with new accounts & industrial partners.
-Identify players with whom we do not currently work with, either with high fragrance potential today or high growth rate.
-Find the right value proposition that would position Mane as a suitable fragrance house for their needs & develop an action plan with internal teams for a first high-impact approach.
-See through new opportunities with thorough new customer onboarding, scaling of efforts and prioritization within portfolio according to future potential until customer maturity.
•Internal synergies:
-Maximise the full set of Mane capabilities & existing work created for the benefit of our customers and our commercial agenda.
-Partake in task forces or cross-functional initiatives beyond day-to-day activities to drive our agenda on strategic priorities and help define our business of tomorrow.
-Accurate and timely reporting of sales, budgets & activity levels.
-Maintain high stakeholder engagement with relevant business updates, workshops as relevant, account plans reviews and across the board transparent & clear communication.
Profil du candidat recherché
Your Profile
• Valid right-to-work status in the UK at the time of application.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within the fragrance industry and minimum, 3 years' commercial experience.
• Completely fluent in English. Some understanding of French will be a plus.
• University degree in sales, marketing, management, or technical fields related to the fragrance industry.
• Proven track record of fragrance project management and selling fragrance with local and regional customers.
• A positive attitude with natural leadership, energy, enthusiasm, curiosity, ability to learn and adapt, an open mind in a multi-cultural world.
• Autonomy, pragmaticism, structure, organisation, rigor, with a sense of priorities and service.
• Social intelligence and interpersonal skills to connect with colleagues and customers.
•Capacity to mobilize cross functional teams around projects, opportunities, or major challenges.
• Great communication, adaptability to interlocutor and situations, ability to flex the tone, negotiate.
• Relationship building abilities, reliability, enjoyment in conferring & transferring knowledge or being of service.
• Professionalism and confidence in talking about fragrance to an audience.
• Computer literacy and skills, especially to run projects in a digital way and to communicate.
• Both long-term strategic vision & short-term tactical execution, driven by results.
• Ability to break down and analyse complex situations, solution-driven, a mindset of continuous improvement, adaptability to changing environments.
