MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To lead the commercial activities of the Fragrances Consumer Goods division in the Nigerian market, ensuring profitable growth and the sustainable development of sales.
The role also acts as a key link between the Nigerian team and regional management, supporting people-related and administrative matters in close collaboration with the Director Fragrances Sub-Saharan Africa.
SCOPE OF JOB
Customer Centricity
Sales Management
•Drive sales and business development for V. MANE FILS Nigeria under the supervision of the Director for the West African market.
•Be accountable for achieving the country sales budget.
•Translate the regional plan into a country-specific commercial strategy and define a local strategic plan for validation by Regional Management.
•Implement and monitor the commercial strategy, ensuring that the required resources are in place to achieve objectives and identifying gaps where necessary.
•Focus on key growth priorities, including must-win projects, talent recruitment, employee development, prospecting for new business opportunities, forecast accuracy, and follow-up on overdue receivables.
•Lead and coordinate major projects in Nigeria in collaboration with the relevant Category Manager.
•Manage communication within the local market.
•Provide the regional / EMEA structure and Category Managers with all relevant market information, including customer, competitor, and product insights.
•Develop a sustainable business in the market in line with company guidelines.
•Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with strategic plans, and escalate opportunities that fall outside the agreed plan to management.
•Actively support the Global Accounts organisation in the market.
•Actively support distributors and agents in the market.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key local customers.
•Report results and analyses to regional management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Independence (Finance)
•Monitor overdue debtors and contribute to the setting of credit policies in line with direct management guidance, company policies, and procedures.
•Ensure compliance with corporate rules, including environment, ethics, and best practices.
•Manage the expense budget in line with regional management guidelines and MANE best practices.
•Support administrative and financial processes in coordination with the Fragrance Director Sub-Saharan Africa.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS LEVEL
•Business School qualification or Master's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
•Minimum of 7 years' experience in International Business Development within FMCG, either in a brand-owner environment or a Fragrance house.
•Good knowledge of the FMCG market.
•Strong knowledge of the Nigerian market.
•Frequent local and international business travel is required.
