We are one of the leading Fragrance and Flavour companies in the world with 50 research centers and 28 production sites on all continents, with headquarters in France. The Italian subsidiary is based in Bareggio, close to Milan, and is the Groups' ‘Ice Cream Centre of excellence', being specialized in ice cream related solutions.

Within the Quality department your main mission will be to independently manage the internal Microbiology Laboratory monitoring raw materials, finished products environment according to the constantly developing analysis plan. Your tasks will be the following:

•Read plates and tubes, as required, to determine the number of organisms in the sample.
•Prepare sample for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending.
•Collect plates and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature.
•Sterilize materials needed for analysis. Autoclave plates before discarding.
•Ensure that media and materials are prepared for the next testing sequence.
•Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that is required to complete job responsibilities.
•Set up equipment and materials needed for analysis.
•Support the Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Manager of the site for the quality excellence and continuous improvement process.
•Must participate in cleaning schedule and maintain retain samples as required.
•Be compliant with all safety policies and laboratory procedures.
•To support laboratory management in the implementation of maintenance, and improvement of the management system.
•Perform other related tasks needed in the QA/QC department.

Profil du candidat recherché

Skills and qualifications

•Academic training in Microbiology/ Specific training in Quality Control analysis.
•Good ability to interact with other departments of the company and with headquarter and external partners.
•High level of English (written and spoken).
•Perfect use of computer software (Microsoft package).
•Motivated and hardworking.
•Reliable and professional.
•Minimum 3 years of experience.
•Further experience in the QC/QA area is a plus.
